简介:卢柯,材料科学家,1965年出生于甘肃华池,现任中国科学院金属研究所研究员,沈阳材

料科学国家(联合)实验室主任,2003年当选中国科学院院士,2004年当选第三世界科学院院士,2005年当选德国国家科学院 (Leopoldina) 院士。主要学术成就包括:发现了纳米孪晶强化效应,开辟了纳米孪晶材料研究方向。提出了利用纳米孪晶强化金属的新原理和方法,在铜及铜合金、不锈钢等多种材料中实现了纳米孪晶结构并获得超高强度、高塑性和高导电性等优异性能。开创了金属材料表面纳米化研究方向,发展了系列表面纳米化技术。澄清了金属材料表面纳米化过程机理和结构演化规律,揭示了纳米材料的本质结构特征和一些奇异性能。表面纳米化技术已成功应用于宝钢冷轧厂拉矫辊,并大幅度提高了拉矫辊使用周期。近年来他及其合作者发表学术论文400余篇,百余次在国际学术会议上做特邀报告,在国际材料领域产生了重要影响,论文被SCI引用2万余次。

他先后出任美国《科学》(Science)周刊评审编辑(Reviewing editor),荣获1998国际亚稳及纳米材料年会ISMANAM金质奖章,2000第三世界科学院TWNSO技术奖,2006 THERMEC 杰出成就奖,2010美国材料研究学会Fellow 称号,2010英国剑桥大学Kelly讲座人,2011德国洪堡研究奖(AvH Research Award) ,2014汤森路透15位中国大陆最具国际引文影响力奖获奖者之一,2014、2015、2016年度全球最具影响力的科研精英等国际奖励及荣誉。

【报告题目】Stabilizing nanostructures in metals

摘要:The traditional method for modifying the properties of metals is to alloy them with impurity elements to change their microstructure and/or their phase constitution. Incorporating interfaces into crystalline lattice of metals provides an alternative approach to advancing properties without changing their chemical compositions. Dramatic property variations and unprecedented performances have been discovered in nanostructured materials in which high density interfaces are introduced. Nevertheless, stability of the interfaces at the nano-scale becomes critical for property advancements. Formation of stable interfaces determines stability of nanostructures, and hence is controlling properties and functionalities of nanomaterials. This talk is to review recent developments of stabilization in nanostructured metals. Quantity, structure, composition, and distribution of several types of interfaces are analyzed to identify their effects on properties and performance in nanostructured metals. Perspectives on stabilization of nanostructures in metals are discussed with respect to its future development and technological applications.
